Clients

Q:
What does “client status” mean?

The “client” is each device that is connected to your Mesh network. These may be smartphones, laptops, tablets or other wireless-enabled devices. The client has three statuses:

  • Online: Client is using Wi-Fi
  • Offline: Client is not using Wi-Fi
  • Blocked: Client is following a rule to access the Internet.
Q:
How do I set Internet rules for my client devices?

EnMesh™ gives you the power to manage all your home’s client devices in the Mesh Network. Quickly see all connected client devices through the EnMesh™ Client page and click the client list to set individual Internet rules and access.

Q:
What does “stop all rules” mean?

The “stop all rules” button is located on the Client page. Tapping the button will cancel all rules for each client device instantly. You may want to use this feature to quickly clean up all client rules at once.

Q:
How do I rename a client device?

Go to the EnMesh™ Device page and tap the upper device list to select a client device. Then, tap the pencil icon to rename the device you want to change. For easy client device management, we recommend naming client devices by their owner (ie. Sara’s iPhone, Eddie’s Laptop, etc.).
