Q:
How do I rename my Mesh Router devices?

Go to the EnMesh™ Device page and tap the upper device list to select a Mesh Router device. Then, tap the pencil icon to rename the device you choose. We suggest naming devices by their location for easy management of the Mesh network.

Q:
How many EnGenius Mesh Routers can I add before the system reaches its high performance capacity limit?

For home use, and to ensure the best Mesh Wi-Fi connection, we recommend the system should be limited to less than 8 devices.

Q:
How do I move a set Mesh device?

To maintain a stable Wi-Fi connection, be sure to check your Mesh device’s LED indicator or EnMesh™ App’s signal color when you move a set device. You can check the Mesh Wi-Fi connection quality on the EnMesh™ App’s Main page and the Device page when you move a device. If you need to unplug and move the device to a different location, plug it back in and wait a few moments for Smart Link to reconnect the Mesh Router to the Mesh network.

Yes, the Mesh Router is a 2x2 11ac Wireless Router. It supports both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz channels. It also supports IEEE 802.11ac/a/b/g/n wireless devices.
