When you login to the EnMesh™ App’s main page, the system will run an Internet speed test automatically. You may also choose the Internet Test button on the main page to manually check your connection.pp in Apple App Store and on Google Play.
It uses WPA2 security, which is based on the IEEE 802.11i technology standard for data encryption, and commonly used in wireless networks. The 256-bit encryption is similar to the secure technology used in online banking and other financial transactions.
You’ll need to access your EnMesh™ Wi-Fi network’s advance settings via the App. There you will see the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz channel and bandwidth functions that can be adjusted. The 2.4 GHz channel default value is “auto-channel” and its bandwidth default value is “20 MHz.” The 5 GHz channel default value is “channel 149” and its bandwidth default value is “80 MHz.” It should be noted that these defaults should not be changed unless you have advanced knowledge of wireless networks or have consulted a wireless network professional first.
EnGenius’ mesh network supports one Guest Wi-Fi Network, which is closed by default. You can easy turn this feature on in the Wi-Fi Network settings. EnMesh™ will auto-set the Guest Wi-Fi after it has completed the mesh network setup.
Go to the Wi-Fi Network page. In the upper right corner, you will see an icon button with an arrow that will allow you to share the Wi-Fi name/Wi-Fi password string to your family and friends via email or other messaging Apps.
